A little about me:

I'm 32 & married to the most amazing man, Eddie who is 30. I have a 14 year old daughter from a previous relationship (although Eddie has been her Dad since she was 6). I was 17 when I had her. Eddie and I were married in November 2012 and are now expecting a son in October 2014! We had a bit of a journey for one year trying to conceive our son - I'm sure that someday I will share all of our trials, but for now I'm just going to bask in the joy that we are able to have a child!
It has been 14 years since I have experienced pregnancy and raising a baby so it kind of feels like the first time all over again.

Update: 36 weeks

Just got back from my weekly NST and ultrasound. Great news all around! My blood pressure has lowered a bit to 130/87 (yesterday at the dr it was 130/90). When I check it at home it is still remaining higher at 144/93. Weird.

Little E is so low that the ultrasound tech couldn't even get a picture of his face. She said that he is too far down in my pelvis. (I think that's a good sign)!

All of my labs that were checking for preeclampsia have come back very normal.

Maybe all of this resting I'm doing is actually helping?? :-)

I have another appointment on Monday and Wednesday of next week.

Right now it's just a lot of waiting around. I'm really hoping that I can go in to labor on my own. I was induced with Akaina and it was very stressful - hoping for a better experience, but we want him here healthy and strong, anyway that we can get him. :o)

I guess we might have an October baby after all!

Have a great week!

P.S.

Thanks for all of the prayers, positive thoughts, support and well wishes! It really does mean the world to Eddie and I.
