A little about me:
I'm 32 & married to the most amazing man, Eddie who is 30. I have a 14 year old daughter from a previous relationship (although Eddie has been her Dad since she was 6). I was 17 when I had her. Eddie and I were married in November 2012 and are now expecting a son in October 2014! We had a bit of a journey for one year trying to conceive our son - I'm sure that someday I will share all of our trials, but for now I'm just going to bask in the joy that we are able to have a child!
It has been 14 years since I have experienced pregnancy and raising a baby so it kind of feels like the first time all over again.

Time is really starting to fly, but slow down at the same time. Makes perfect sense to me ;-)
33 weeks now!! I'm planning on going into labor at 36 or 37 weeks, so not much longer. I really, really want to go in to labor on my own and at 38 weeks. Fingers crossed!
Eddie and I talked last night and decided I'm going to stop working.
When I got home from work last night my BP was elevated. It's better for Ricky and I to be healthy and broke. ;-)
So I have two days left of work and then I'm off for awhile. It's going to be a huge change but it will all be ok.
I'm starting to really feel all the third trimester symptoms: insomnia, back pain, tired, shortness of breath and tons of Braxton hicks.
A lot of things are different this time: super bad pain by my belly button (I think it's because my placenta is in the front), hand/foot numbness and these Braxton hicks contractions feel kinda intense sometimes.
I'm also nesting like crazy; which is fun :-)
I'm just waiting on fabric to come in for Ricky's coming home outfit. Once that is made then I'm ready to go! :-D I should be right about 37 weeks at that point.
Yesterday I attempted to take some maternity pics on my iPhone. Not the best, but they work.
Until next week ;-)

Yesterday I went to the doctor for what I thought was a spider bite that got infected, and found out that I have shingles. So dumb. It's a little painful but not too bad. I have to take 9 pills a day. Crazy. I'm hoping it will heal fast because I'm tired of people not wanting to be around me. :-(
I came to my NST today and the nurse told me it would make everyone feel more comfortable if I waited in a different waiting room. I felt so dirty and nasty. Yuck. I'm mad because I know I shouldn't be working. I know it's a big no no to wait tables and have a highly contagious disease...
"Here's your oriental chicken salad with a side of shingles..."
You can only catch it if you touch it directly, but I don't feel like explaining that to every person.

Darn you pregnancy insomnia. I thought I would avoid it for the most part this time because I am exhausted, but no such luck.
I'm still having twice weekly NST's and an ultrasound. I've been to 3 and each time my blood pressure has been really good! This last time it was 117/74! It could also be because I almost fell asleep at this last one. ;-)
I have a dr appointment next week and I'm going to find out if I need to continue with these, or if I'm in the clear for now.
I'm still working but not closing anymore and I think that has helped.
We got our 3D ultrasound done last week!! He looks so much like Eddie! This just made me way more excited to meet him!! So, only 6-9 more weeks!!
I'm getting impatient and anxious. This whole pregnancy has just flown by and now it feels like it's dragging on.
Pics from our ultrasound and my baby shower!
I had an amazing baby shower on Saturday thanks to my awesome Mom!!
I'm sad I didn't get a picture of my mom and I together :-/ thanks for everything though!!
Look at Cinco in this picture ;-)
How cute are these two?!
Look at his little face!! :-D I love this snuggly guy.
Have a great week all!

30 weeks already?! Whaaaaat??
I'm feeling this bump size now! H U G E!!
Not just my baby bump, but my body is getting big. I'm only 2 pounds away from what I weighed when I delivered Eddie...
On Friday I had a doctors appointment and my blood pressure was 150/100...!!
Ahh! I've been eating AWFUL and gained 11 pounds in one month. They started testing me for preeclampsia and kind of scared me in to eating better. Luckily, today I got results back that there is no protein in my urine! Yay! And I don't have gestational diabetes (sweet)!
So, now I get to do twice weekly NST's and a weekly ultrasound. I feel like I'm on vacation. Serious! My mom (love her!) is watching Eddie so I can not be stressed during my NST's.
My blood pressure is 117/79 - so that's great for me!!
Ricky is SUPER active. She had to wait the first 10 minutes for him to calm down because he wouldn't stop kicking! Lol
Just like his brother ;-)
On Friday we are going to Baby Pictures to do a 3D/4D ultrasound. I did it with Kaina and I really wish I would've done it with Eddie. It's pretty cool!
I can't believe that in about 7 or 8 weeks (most likely) we will have our Ricky here with us. How amazing!
I feel So, so blessed.
How lucky am I?! I get one beautiful girl and two wild boys to love for the rest of my life. AND the seriously best Daddy/husband to be by my side through it all. Such a blessed life. ❤️
Cravings: S U G A R!!! Pop. Coffee. This is what I'm fighting against on the daily. Ugh. Now I need to focus more on protein, veggies and fruit.
Aversions: veggies and fruit :-/
Overall I'm feeling ok. I can tell now when my blood pressure rises. I also feel super light headed and out of breath a lot.
I just overall feel out of shape. I can't wait to start running again. That seems to be when I'm at my best :)
Until next week!
